🎤speak and it interprets

Built for passing the phone back and forth at a reception desk or in an exam room. Just two buttons — [I speak] and [They speak]. Tap, talk, and your words appear as text, then the translation shows large in the other language and is read aloud.

  • Korean ↔ English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, Thai (switch the other language right on the screen)
  • Translation runs on the phone. Download the language model (about 30MB) once and it works without internet.
  • Where speaking is awkward, just type; translations can be copied.
  • What you say is never sent to our server. The app collects no personal data.

🏥Find hospitals & pharmacies

80,000 hospitals and 25,000 pharmacies in Korea from official HIRA public data. Find what's near you, pharmacies open right now, and after-hours or holiday clinics for a sick child at night. Hospitals abroad too — USA, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand and more.

  • Hospital names and departments shown in your language
  • Departments, number of specialists, equipment like MRI/CT, and the non-covered prices each hospital reports
  • Call button and directions via KakaoMap / Naver Map

?Frequently asked questions

Does it work on iPhone?

Android only for now. On iPhone, just use this website — hospital/pharmacy search and the community are the same on the web.

Does it really work without internet?

Translation does — open the Translate screen once while online to download the language model. Speaking (recognition) and reading aloud use Google's built-in voice features on the phone; download the offline speech pack in your phone settings and those work offline too. The 'Offline use' help inside the app shows how.

Is it free?

Free, no ads, and no sign-up required.

Is the translation accurate?

It uses Google's on-device translation. Everyday conversation and describing symptoms work well, but confirm important things like diagnoses and prescriptions with the medical staff. Muromuro is not a substitute for medical diagnosis.

Get it before you need it — so words don't fail you when you're sick.
