- Pain spreading to the left arm or jaw

What should I do?
A racing or tight chest is seen by internal medicine (cardiology). Neighborhood clinics can usually do an ECG.
Important: crushing chest pain lasting more than five minutes, especially with cold sweat or shortness of breath, may be a heart attack. Do not wait and do not drive yourself — call 119 immediately.
