My child is sick
Recommended department — Pediatrics
When to go straight to the emergency room
- Limp and slow to respond
- A seizure
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe dehydration (very little urine, no tears when crying)
- Fever in a baby under 3 months old
If you have any of the symptoms above, call 119 or go to the nearest emergency room.
What should I do?
Children are normally seen in pediatrics. Look for a clinic with "소아과" or "소아청소년과" in its name — these are pediatric clinics.
At night and on holidays, Moonlight Children's Hospitals provide pediatric care. For a mild fever or cold, see a pediatrician the next day; if any of the warning signs below appear, go straight to an emergency room.
